Hamish Loveday from Dundee submitted this use case in the Customer Slack Community on 17 June 2021: "An obvious example is that this year, we're planning to create a list based on 'all users who's accounts have been created within 11 months' type of thing so we can target staff and student induction without annoying users who've been around for a while. Regarding the idea of targeting groups of courses, the use case Callum (Rigg) is referring to is around our sandbox modules and our new modules for each new academic year. We'd like to have pop-ups specifically targeted at academics accessing the new modules (which have brand new course templates this year) that can instruct them through the process of setting their module up this year. But they absolutely don't want to see those pop-ups in existing courses. They all have the same academic year in their course code i.e. 21/22, so yes there is a unique identifier common to them all."

One of our faculties are looking at providing course-specific tips regarding upcoming coursework to first year students in a particular program. This would be perfect. Alternatively, we would need to capture course specific contexts based on URL to target only users in those courses or add the specific users to a campaign (which wouldn't update if a student changed program).
